I am putting together a small fitness series for my YouTube channel, the first of which will be a "What's in My Gym Bag" video. I plan on having that up later this week. Also in this mini series I plan to do a look at my fitness binder and my workout drawer in my room. It goes along with what is currently going on in my life as this week is registration for Disney's Princess Half Marathon 2014 at Walt Disney World in Feburary. So now that I'll be officially registered for it, thus making it seem more real I'll be amping up my training for it as well. In July registration opens for Disney's Tinkerbell Half Marathon 2014 at Disneyland in January. My reason for doing both is because Disney has a challenged called Coast to Coast where you get an extra medal congratulating you for participating in and completing a Disney half marathon on each coast in the same calender year. Pretty cool huh?. That is my major fitness goal for the early part of the year for 2014, it is also works into my master goal of losing 100lbs, at this point from the time I decided this I am happy to report that I am down almost 30lbs, only 70 more to go to reach my goal of being in the 135-150 range. I'm the type of person who likes to have an overall plan then also smaller achievable goals to break it down that still fall in line with the overall goal which in this case is a healthier more active lifestyle and so far I've really been enjoying it. I feel better, physically, mentally and emotionally. I've got more energy, I feel better about myself. I'm gaining more confidence. It's just an all around better thing in my world.
